A Mickey mouse ceramic tile thermometer from the 1940's. The vintage decorative Thermo Plaque tile was manufactured by the Kemper-Thomas Company in Cincinnati, OH. Featuring an image of Mickey Mouse ice skating, the labeling on the back indicates that this piece is item no. 1830 in the manufacturer's catalog. Kemper-Thomas created a series of Thermo Plaques with Walt Disney character designs. Measuring 6"x6", the tile is in very good condition with minor wear from age.
